Our Mission

We are partnering with Pray America, also known as Manos De Jesus (Hands of Jesus), located in Chichicastenango, Guatemala. This ministry is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through both words and works. Our team’s projects will include building 2 to 4 houses for widows, and 2 to 4 latrines (bathrooms). We will also do home visits to build relationships with Guatemalan families and provide audio Bibles and solar lights. Each afternoon we will help at one of the three feeding programs that the ministry sponsors.

How You Can Support Us

We know we cannot do this on our own and need the support of our church family and friends.

PRAY:

Please pray that all of our work would be done through God and for His glory. Also pray for the people we will serve, for unity within our team, and for safety.

FUNDRAISING:

Each team member is responsible to raise the $1600 per person it costs to go on the trip. As a team we are also responsible for raising funds to pay for the building and relational projects we will do while there (approximately $6000). During the month of March we will be doing a group fundraiser. Raised funds will go directly to Pray America to be applied towards our team’s projects. Any remaining funds will offset team members’ ground costs that we must send to Pray America.

PANCAKE SUPPER:

Come to Our Pancake Supper! March 21, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
